Moina Sajjad began her artistic journey in Dhaka, Bangladesh where she had the opportunity to learn fine arts from the artist Syful Islam. Moina is passionate about her art and loves creating paintings that have depth and texture. Her paintings are serene and eye-catching.
She feels that in our lives, we can be inspired by even the smallest things around us-both emotionally and spiritually.Moina believes that the natural elements and the beautiful creations around us by our Creator are the reason and inspiration for her to paint on a blank canvas. This is the reason why her painting speakes to its viewer and they experience tranquility in them.
Moina was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. She moved to United States in 1999. Some of Her artwork reflects her cultural background, which consist of islamic architecture and calligraphy styles.
Moina mainly uses oil, acrylic, resin and mixed mediums to create her paintings. She paints mostly abstract-landscapes, geodes and many more styles of art. The Artist is not scared to try and experiment different mediums in her paintings.
Moina has participated in several art festival ,throughout her artistic career in Dallas and Houston.
Moina had her artwork showcased in the Wylie Art Gallery. She had sold her paintings here and caught the attention of many locals. Moina had some of her artworks displayed at the Plano Courtyard Theater for Asia Art Exhibition, which had been a great success.
In October 2018 at Richardson Art Society members show, Moina's painting SERENITY won an award.
Moina became member of Texas Visual Art Association in 2019,and participated in new members juried art show. her painting REJUVENATION won Best Of Show at TVAA.
Moina's Inspiration is all about when "Inspiration meets creativity". It is about finding what inspires the Artist and bringing it to life through the art that she devotedly creates.Â
